Coronation of the Virgin: Tourmaline, Amethyst & Iridescent glass True Bronze 5 decade Rosary
This semi-precious stone 5 decade Rosary is made with smooth tourmaline beads of varying tones of pink, mauve and violet- interspersed with deep blue fire polished iridescent czech beads. The Pater beads are rough faceted Amethyst.
This Rosary's colors are inspired by Diego Velazquez's painting "The Coronation of the Virgin", depicting God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit crowning the Virgin with a crown of flowers. They are wearing rich purple and mauve ropes, while Mary is wearing beep blue with purple.
A large true broze centerpiece features the figure of the Virgin surrounded by a background of fleur de lis in front of a cross. Crucifix is true bronze cast from vintage originals, all other bronze-toned hardware is brass. The center piece of this Rosary is larger than I usually use, so it is priced slightly higher to compensate. True bronze components can get quite costly.
Each rosary I make is one of a kind and prayerfully assembled.
I strive for high quality and durable craftsmanship, but should you have any issues with breakage or loss of an individual segment of one of the Rosaries, I will repair the broken segment for you, or rework all of the beadwork around the original bronze elements in such a situation that the individual beadwork cannot be recreated. This service requires advance authorization and return of the entire rosary/parts so that I may give it prompt attention.
In addition to creating the custom Rosaries shown here, I'm also a member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers and make Mission Rosaries, to send to communities in need.
