New this season, Grape Hyacinth blossom floral jelly is made from the delicate purple blossoms of the wild grape hyacinths that are pervasive in the spring forest. I carefully remove the individual blossoms from the stem to create an infused floral tea that's dark purple in color, with a bright grape/fruit aroma. With the addition of lemon juice, the tea turns a bright reddish pink. This jelly is richly flavored, and sure to be a new favorite.
Floral jellies are delicious served with scones, biscuits, croissants or shortbreads. They can also be a unique addition to a charcuterie board alongside mild cheeses such as brie or ricotta.
I only make one batch per year, so this is a limited availability, seasonal product!
