St Kateri Tekakwitha : Amazonite & Iridescent glass True Bronze 5 decade Rosary
This semi-precious stone 5 decade Rosary is made with smooth earth and sky-toned amazonite gemstone beads, for both the Ave (8mm) and Pater beads (12mm). Colorful iridescent faceted glass accent beads throughout.
This Rosary's colors are inspired by a mural of American Saints, featuring St. Kateri in the center (photo in this listing is a cropped detail photo of a portion of the mural). The artist is Jan Henryk de Rosen, a Polish-born American painter.
A large true bronze centerpiece features St. Kateri holding lilies. This centerpiece is freshly cast and will take on more of a patina over time as it oxidizes and begins to look more "vintage". Crucifix is true bronze cast from vintage originals, all other bronze-toned hardware is brass. The center piece of this Rosary is larger than I usually use, so it is priced slightly higher to compensate. True bronze components can get quite costly.
Each rosary I make is one of a kind and prayerfully assembled.
I strive for high quality and durable craftsmanship, but should you have any issues with breakage or loss of an individual segment of one of the Rosaries, I will repair the broken segment for you, or rework all of the beadwork around the original bronze elements in such a situation that the individual beadwork cannot be recreated. This service requires advance authorization and return of the entire rosary/parts so that I may give it prompt attention.
In addition to creating the custom Rosaries shown here, I'm also a member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers and make Mission Rosaries, to send to communities in need.
